Quoting & Ordering

1 How can I get a manufacturing quote?

To help buyers plan accurately, getting a quote is straightforward. For most projects, upload your 3D CAD files directly through our online quote systemDuring quoting and production planning, , or email them to [email protected]. Our manufacturing engineers reviews your designs and provides detailed pricing with lead times within 24 business hours. For complex assemblies or multi-part projects, we recommend including assembly instructions and material specifications.

2 Which CAD file formats can I submit?

We accept all standard 3D CAD formats for quoting and manufacturing:

  • Preferred: For most projects, sTEP (.stp), IGES (.igs), Parasolid (.x_t)
  • Accepted: During quoting and production planning, sTL, OBJ, SolidWorks (.sldprt), Inventor (.ipt)
  • 2D Drawings: To help buyers plan accurately, dWG, DXF, PDF (for reference dimensions)
3 Do you require a minimum order quantity?

No minimum order requirements. We support everything from single prototypes to manufacturing batches of 100,000+ parts. Whether you need one part for testing or thousands for market launch, our manufacturing systems are designed to scale with your needs.

4 How is my design information kept confidential?

For most projects, your intellectual property is protected through strict internal protocols. All employee and partner agreements include confidentiality clauses. Our secure file systems restrict access to authorized personnel only. We're happy to sign NDAs before reviewing your designs—just request one when submitting your quote.

5 Which shipping terms and delivery options are available?

Customers can access flexible shipping arrangements to satisfy your needs:

  • Standard: During quoting and production planning, ex Works (EXW) — you arrange pickup from our facility
  • Express Air: DAP via DHL/FedEx — produced to your door (duties may apply)
  • Customer Account: To help buyers plan accurately, use your own DHL, FedEx, or UPS account

specialized Manufacturing Capabilities

Nelotiv’s facility features 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machines, precision lathes, and automated quality inspection systems. This equipment enables us to handle everything from simple brackets to complex aerospace components.

Production & Capabilities

6 What CNC machining tolerances are available?

During quoting and production planning, tolerances depend on part geometry, material, and manufacturing process:

  • Standard: To help buyers plan accurately, iSO 2768-medium (metals) / ISO 2768-fine (plastics)
  • Tight: For most projects, ±0.005" (±0.125mm) to ±0.002" (±0.05mm)
  • Precision: During quoting and production planning, ±0.0002" (±0.005mm) for critical features
7 What is your maximum manufacturing size?

Nelotiv’s CNC machining envelope extends to 1200 × 800 × 600mm. For larger assemblies, we can manufacture components in sections and join them using precision welding or mechanical fasteners. Sheet metal parts can be fabricated up to 2000mm in length.

8 Is 5-axis CNC machining available?

Yes. Our 5-axis CNC machines allow complex geometries to be machined in a single setup, reducing lead time and improving accuracy. This capability is ideal for aerospace components, medical implants, and intricate industrial parts that require multiple angled surfaces.

9 Which manufacturing processes are available?

complete manufacturing solutions under one roof:

  • CNC Machining: Milling, turning, 5-axis, Swiss-type
  • Sheet Metal: During quoting and production planning, laser cutting, bending, welding, assembly
  • 3D Printing: To help buyers plan accurately, fDM, SLA, SLS, SLM (metal)
  • Surface Finishing: For most projects, anodizing, plating, powder coating, polishing

Quality & Certification

10 Which quality certifications do you maintain?

During quoting and production planning, Nelotiv maintains internationally recognized certifications:

  • ISO 9001:2015 — Quality Management System
  • ISO 13485:2016 To help buyers plan accurately, — Medical Device Quality Management
  • IATF 16949:2016 — Automotive Quality Management
11 How do you control component quality?

Quality is built into every step. Our workflow includes Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews before production, inspect incoming materials, conduct in-process checks, and complete final inspection using CMM and optical measurement systems. You receive inspection reports with every shipment.

12 Are material certificates and inspection reports available?

Yes. Material certificates (Mill Certs), inspection reports, and Certificates of Conformance (CoC) are available upon request. Please specify documentation requirements when ordering so we can prepare everything before shipment.
